Saturday, April 12th Doors Open at 6 pm Auction begins at 7 pm Kent Island Volunteer Fire Department - 1610 Main Street - Chester, MD 21619 $3.00 per quest (includes 1 paddle for bidding) 2nd & 3rd Paddle: $2.00 each **Portion of the Proceeds to benefit Nemasket Orphaned Animal Haven, Inc., a 501(c)3 Charity.** No tickets sold. First come, first served. SO RSVP NOW! Arrive early to be entered in a drawing for free quarters! You will enjoy playing, socializing and WINNING for just quarters! 100 items on the auction block, bids 14 quarters. 10 Home party vendors, including: *AVON * Home & Garden Party * Tastefully Simple * Home Interiors * Scentsy * * Tupperware * Pampered Chef * and more! What is a Quarter Auction? " Vendors will bring a combined 110 pieces of merchandise valued between $10.00 - $100.00 per item to be auctioned off. " Each guest can purchase up to three (3) numbered paddles with corresponding numbered balls placed in a container and used for selecting a winner for each item. " Each item is displayed and its description is read by the emcee - to include its retail value and number of quarters (per paddle played) to bid " Guests place 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 quarters (based on the item's retail value) per paddle played in the basket on their table to bid on the item and then raise their paddle(s) $10-$24  1 quarter bid $25-$49  2 quarter bid $50-$74  3 quarter bid $75+ - 4 quarter bid " The MC randomly selects a numbered ball and the guest that bid with the corresponding numbered paddle wins the item! " If a player has the winning numbered paddle - and they played by placing their quarters in the container - they call out WINNER! If the guest did not play - they call out NO BID! Balls are pulled until someone wins. Remember: The more items you bid on the more chances you have to win! Bring a roll or two of quarters and a few friends!!
